Join us for the largest 5K Beer Fest in town...the 12th Annual Helotes 5K Beer Garden Run!
 
EXPERIENCE:
1000+ will run the 5K or 1K
5K is chip timed
After the race, enjoy beer sampling from 25+ local craft breweries
Costumes make it more fun!  There's an award for the Best Costume!
People's Choice for Best Brewery

Registration includes custom race shirt, race bib, chip timing (5K only), beer samples and more!
Love beer more than running?  There's a 1K option (not chip timed)
There's plenty of parking at the Festival Grounds!

Virtual Run

Just grateful I could make a donation and run this race. This race has the best race shirts. I still have several of them and they are amazingly comfortable on my long training runs. Of course, when the Helotes Beer Run returns to in person in 2022, expect plenty of beer, plenty of fun, they will be making up for not being able to do 2021, and the cause is a great cause.

Great

Tons of great breweries, good course, huge turnout and supporting a good cause. Everyone was very friendly and respectful of the area. Enough Porta-potties to not have to big a line. Loved it!

Perfect for everyone!

This is the perfect event for those who don't take themselves to seriously. A fun run (or walk) with a great reward at the end. The beer was so good after a brisk morning 5K. Loved the event set up this year, and felt like a big party. Much needed time with friends after a rough 2 years.

another great Helotes Beer Run

This year's race was all on streets when last one covered both grassy terrain and street. Fun race and great event afterwards tasting some great brewed beer and doing some shopping.

Great event!

This is one of the most fun races we've done! The course was fast with some hills to add a little challenge. Such a great value to get a 5K race and a beerfest with a wide variety of local breweries. Highly recommend!
