Put your running shoes on and join us as we stride for sight! In honor of Blindness Awareness Month, the Lions Sight Research Foundation and the Eagle Pass Border Lions are teaming up with the City of Eagle Pass to host the Stride for Sight 5K Run & Walk. This collaborative effort is being done to assist the Lions Sight Research Foundation in its mission to support the vision-impaired and promote vision care, with all proceeds being donated to the cause. The Stride for Sight 5K Run & Walk will take place Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 9:00 am, at the Sports Cpomplex, located at 1325 Patsy Winn Blvd. in Eagle Pass, Tx. 

PRICING:

     All categories have the option to purchase a shirt ($18.00)

     5K Fun Run (not chip timed)  

          $10 now until midnight 9/26/24

          $15 until midnight 10/25/24

          $20 on race day

     Kids Ages 6-13 - $5.00 with paid adult

     Kids Ages 0-5 - Free with paid adult

Stride for Sight 5K Run&Wqlk

Thank you so much for this event. Well done! This was a lifetime experience for my 7 year old daughter running alongside me for the first time a 5K Run. We both enjoyed participating in this event held for such an important cause by the Lions Int. Research Foundation to help children encountering vision problems. Great job everyone!
