Steps4Vets

There are 5 categories to choose from:

7:00 AM   Duathlon (1-mile run and climb) - chip timed  

7:20 AM   Climb (to the top of the Tower of Americas) - chip timed 

8:00 AM    4-Mile Run/Walk - chip timed 

8:10 AM    1-Mile Walk - not chip timed 

                 Combination Duathlon & 4 Mile Run. (Same starting times as above. We'll combine your chip times to find the Overall Male/Female winners! 

***Overall winners of each category will be invited to ride on the Endeavors float during the Veterans Day Parade which starts at 11:00 AM***

We'll get you to the start of the parade!  

AWARDS:

4 Mile Run:  Overall Male/Female (Trophy, plus a ride in the Veterans Day Parade on the Endeavors Float!)

                    1st-3rd place in age groups:  15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Duathlon:  Overall Male/Female (Trophy, plus a ride in the Veterans Day Parade on the Endeavors Float)

                   1st place in age groups:  13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Climb:  Overall Male/Female (Trophy, plus a ride in the Veterans Day Parade on the Endeavors Float)

Combination Duathlon + 4 Mile Run:  Overall Male/Female (Trophy, plus a ride in the Veterans Day Parade on the Endeavors Float)

The Endeavors STEPS4VETS is held in honor of those who serve or have served in our armed forces.  As we celebrate Veterans Day, this race will occur in collaboration with the City of San Antonio Veterans Day event.

PRICING:

4 Mile Run/Walk:

$30  Until midnight 9/30/23 

$35 Until midnight 11/10/23 

$40 on race day

Duathlon and Climb:

$40 Until midnight 9/30/23

$45 Until midnight 11/10/23

$50 on race day

Combination Duathlon & 4 Mile Run:

$60 until midnight 09/30/23

$65 until midnight 11/10/23

$70 on race day

1 Mile Walk:

$20 Until midnight 9/30/23

$25 Until midnight 11/10/23

$30 on race day

Kids 4-12 (4 Mile Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk Only):

$10 with Paid Adult.  Option to purchase shirt @ $10

Kids 0-3:

Free with paid adult.

Who is Endeavors?

Endeavors is a nonprofit organization serving vulnerable people in San Antonio and across the country. Our programs serve people in need, many of whom are in crisis situations, including low-income and disabled Veterans and their families, single-mothers, chronically homeless youth, women, and families; Veterans seeking assistance with mental health and wellness, migrants, and more.
