Be a part of history as the City of Windcrest honors our first responders and remembers those lost on September 11th 2001 in the First Annual Windcrest 9/11 Remembrance Race.
Once you hit mile 2.7, it's downhill!
This race is for everyone, including adaptive categories for
prosthetic device
push chair/ stroller
B/VI Guided Runner
Power Chair
Manual Chair
Race Chair
Sports Chair
Hand Cycle
Recumbent Bike/ Trike
Walking
Can't attend, but want to support? There's a Virtual option!
This race includes gender specific technical shirts and finisher medals.
The 5K kicks off an entire day of 9/11 events at Takas Park in Windcrest.
All proceeds benefit the Windcrest Volunteer Fire Association and the Windcrest Police Department.
Come out and support our local heroes!
PRICING:
$30 until midnight 7/31/21
$35 until midnight 9/10
$40 at packet pickup and on race day.
No cash or checks. Please register online.
