NEF Fun Run

  The Northside Education Foundation (NEF) cannot wait to see you at the starting line for our annual NEF Fun Run. You still have time to register to join us at Northwest Vista College on Saturday, April 6th at 9 a.m. Event and parking access both close at 8:45 a.m. The Fun Run is 2.4 miles and here's the route. If you can't attend, consider joining as a Sleepwalker or make a donation towards our mission. You can also give the gift of time by volunteering. We will soon have more information for individuals and companies interested in becoming a sponsor.  Thank you for supporting educators and students! 

PARKING:

Please park in lots 0, 2, or 3.  Parking lots will be CLOSED AT 8:45 A.M.

This year the Kids Run will begin at 9:00 am with ages 5 and under going first and ages 6-10 going right after.

Ages 5 and under – .25 mile

Ages 6-10 – .50 mile

There is no ADDITIONAL charge for this run, but all participants must  be registered for the Fun Run and have a race bib.

We encourage the kiddos to run by themselves but understand they might be a little anxious.  Parents/Guardians are allowed to jog next to their child, ages 5 and under.

Event Time Line:

8:00 am – Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up begin

8:45 am – Access to parking on campus is closed

9:00 am – Kids Run (Ages 5 and under) .25 mile

9:15 am – Kids Run (Ages 6-10) .50 mile

9:30 am – Fun Run begins

Pricing: Fun Run & Sleepwalker

Adults 

$25 until midnight 3/4/24

$35 until midnight 4/5/24

$40 on Race Day

Kids, Ages 4-10 

$10 now, until race day, with paid adult

Kids Ages 0-3

Free with paid adult

All registrants have the option to purchase a custom race t-shirt for $10

*Shirt sizes are guaranteed if registered no later than midnight 3/21/24.

Sorry, dogs are not allowed at this event (service animals are the exception)

This route is stroller-friendly.

Packet Pick Up Information:

CAMPUS PICK UP:  If you choose this option, your packet will be available for pick up at the campus/site you selected during registration. A campus/site representative will contact you to pick up your packet the week of April 1st.

Northside Education Foundation (NEF) PICK UP: If you choose this option, packet pick up will be available 7 am- 7 pm on April 3rd and 4th at the Northside Education Foundation office located at 6632 Bandera Rd. Bldg. F,  SATX 78238

Volunteers:

Volunteers are needed before the event and during race day. This is a great opportunity for high school and college students, retired NISD employees, or anyone interested in volunteering.
