My two young sons have run in this race for three years now. They always have fun. This year was organized very well, kudos. My one complaint, and has been all three years, is the separating of boys and girls. What does it teach our young children, no matter their gender, to start separate? Is it merely to distinguish the finishers more easily? I worry it is not setting a great image for the running community.
Great way to encourage our kids to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle and make fun memories with their friends! Plus they get to visit and explore the zoo!
